David Kalisch and Roger Hicks have a love of music, the guitar and creating vocal harmonies. Having both grown up in the sixties, they are influenced by the folk rock acoustic sounding music of the time including Bob Dylan, Simon and Garfunkel, the Everly Brothers, James Taylor, Buddy Holly, The Beatles, Neil Young and many more. With this shared interest they came together to form 'Blue Sky Busking' and have given music-making true purpose by raising money for charitable and other causes through busking and public performance. Every penny raised, goes to charity without deduction. For more details see Donations! page.

The Backstory.....
We started fund raising for Ukraine back in 2022. Over £12,000 has been raised so far through busking and concerts, thanks to the generosity of all those who've donated. 100% of the funds raised is sent to a Ukraine focussed charity, currently The British Red Cross.
